Virtual Piano Studio Create & Record

Playing the Piano

• Mouse: Click on the keys to play
• Keyboard: Use A-S-D-F-G-H-J-K-L for white keys
• MIDI: Connect a MIDI keyboard via USB

Controls

• Range: Choose 2, 5 or 7 octaves
• Sound: Grand Piano, Electric Piano, Organ or Synthesizer
• Notation: Show note names on the keys
• Sustain: Hold ALT (or a MIDI sustain pedal) to let notes ring
• Connect MIDI: Link an external keyboard over USB

Recording Tracks

• REC: Click to start recording, click again to stop
• PLAY: Listen to your recorded track
• LOOP: Repeat the track continuously
• CLEAR: Delete all notes from a track

Workflow

1. Choose number of tracks (2-8)
2. Click REC on Track 1, play piano
3. Click REC again to stop
4. Record other tracks
5. Use "Play All" to hear together
6. Click "Send to Mix" for Recording Studio

Creating Beats

• Grid: Click cells to toggle drum hits across 16 steps
• Tracks: Choose 4, 6, 8 or 12 instrument rows
• Instrument: Pick the sound per row from the dropdown
• Tempo / Vol: Set the BPM and overall drum volume
• Metronome: Green/grey toggle for a click while you build
• M / S: Mute or solo individual drum rows

Live Recording & Editing

• REC: Record a live drum performance; STOP also stops the beat
• Edit: Trim the take before sending it to the mix
• Send to Mix: Add the beat or take to the Recording Studio
• Add Samples: Upload your own drum sounds
• Clear: Empty the pattern to start fresh

Transport Controls

• Rewind: Go to start
• Play: Play all tracks
• Pause: Pause playback
• Stop: Stop and reset
• Record: Record master output

Mixing per Track

• Volume fader: Vertical fader; the Master fader sits at 0 dB in the middle
• Pan / Reverb / Delay: Turn the knobs (or focus one and use the arrow keys); changes apply live and are captured while recording
• M (Mute) / S (Solo): Silence a track, or hear only that one
• Source: Choose what feeds each track

Record, Overdub & Export

• Record Live (floating button, bottom-right): captures everything currently playing into a track
• Overdub: Loop one track while you record another; the reference keeps playing
• Clips: Drag clips along the timeline; the Master REC clip stays on the Master row
• Export WAV: Download the full mix as audio
• Export MIDI: Download the piano tracks as MIDI
• Add Track: Create more tracks

Recording Your Voice

1. Click "Allow Microphone" and grant permission in the browser popup
2. Click REC to record, STOP when finished
3. Click "Send" to add the take to the Recording Studio mix

Microphone needs HTTPS and browser permission. If denied, check the lock icon in the address bar.

Built-in Vocal Tools

• Tuner: Real-time pitch detection shows the note you are singing and how in-tune it is
• Autotune: Pitch correction to a chosen key and scale; routes through the master bus so it is captured in recordings
• Training: Ear-training game that gives you a target note to match with your voice

Switch tools with the Tuner / Autotune / Training tabs. Leaving a tab stops that tool.

Reverb

Adds room/hall ambiance. Higher = more spacious sound.

Delay

Echo effect. Creates repeating copies of the sound.

Pan

Stereo position. Left, center, or right in the mix.
